Most "best Korean BBQ in Perth" lists are copied from each other and quietly go stale. While putting this one together we found published lists placing one of these restaurants on the wrong street number, and another in a suburb it doesn't trade in — small errors, but the kind that send you to the wrong door on a Friday night.

So this list is smaller and duller than the usual "Top 10": every name, street address and suburb below was re-checked on 28 July 2026 against that venue's own Google Business Profile, the listing the business itself controls. Where a venue also runs its own website, that's linked too. Nine places made it. We would rather publish nine verified than ten with one guess in it.

It is not ranked — we have no basis to tell you that one charcoal grill beats another. It's ordered by area: Perth CBD, then Northbridge, then Victoria Park. Ratings and price bands in brackets are Google's own figures on the date above and will drift.

The List

  1. Namoo Korean Restaurant (78 Barrack St, Perth WA 6000) — CBD pork-belly specialist, known for its palsaik samgyeopsal (eight differently marinated pork bellies on one grill). Dinner from 5pm; takeaway and delivery listed. Google 4.3 (745 reviews), $40–60pp.
  2. Arirang Korean BBQ Restaurant (91-93 Barrack St, Perth WA 6000) — long-running, down-to-earth traditional Korean BBQ a few doors along the same block, and one of the few with its own website (arirang.com.au). Google 3.8 (968), $20–40pp.
  3. Tong 86 (86 Beaufort St, Perth WA 6000) — warehouse-sized room with graffiti walls and K-pop videos on the screens; the one to pick when the group is big and loud. In the Ferguson Buildings. Google 4.1 (546), $20–40pp.
  4. K Town Restaurant (63 Aberdeen St, Northbridge WA 6003) — Aberdeen Street standby for tabletop grilling, listed as LGBTQ+ friendly on its own profile. Dinner from 5pm. Google 4.2 (846), $40–60pp.
  5. Marubang (318 William St, Northbridge WA 6003) — two venues at one address: Korean noodles and braised pork on the ground floor, Korean BBQ upstairs, per the restaurant's own site. Google 4.3 (677), $20–60pp.
  6. Sura Korean Restaurant (100 Francis St, Northbridge WA 6003) — busy wood-clad room with tabletop grills and a large courtyard, which makes it one of the better warm-evening options. Google 4.1 (881), $20–40pp.
  7. SSAM Korean BBQ & Mini Hot Pot (313 Albany Hwy, Victoria Park WA 6100) — BBQ plus a per-person mini hot pot, so a table can do both at once. Own site at ssamkorean.com.au. Google 4.3 (1,017), $40–60pp.
  8. Korean BBQ Village Group (361 Albany Hwy, Victoria Park WA 6100) — charcoal grills, and the only one on this list whose profile shows an 11am opening, so it is the lunch option. Google 4.3 (491), $20–80pp.
  9. Seoul Buffet (425 Albany Hwy, Victoria Park WA 6100) — all-you-can-eat cook-your-own BBQ and steamboat with a full bar; its own site lists a two-hour sitting at $49 per adult. Google 4.0 (444), $40–60pp.

How to use this at the table

The same nine places are saved as a public SaveBoard board — open it on your phone, and each place is one tap to its listing or website. No app, no login, no account needed to read it.

FAQ

How were these addresses verified? Each venue's name, street address and suburb was read on 28 July 2026 from that venue's own Google Business Profile — the listing the business controls itself — rather than copied from another article. Where the venue also runs its own website, that was checked too, and any conflict is noted rather than smoothed over.

Is this list ranked? No. It is ordered geographically: Perth CBD, Northbridge, then Victoria Park. We have not eaten at all nine on the same week and won't pretend to rank them.

Why nine and not ten? Because only nine cleared the verification bar on the day. Padding a list to a round number is how the wrong-address problem starts.

Are the ratings and prices current? They were Google's figures on 28 July 2026 and are included to show scale, not as a live feed. Ratings drift and prices rise — check before you book.

What is the SaveBoard board? SaveBoard is a visual bookmark app. This guide's list exists as a real, public board in it, so reading the list and saving it are the same thing — you can open the board, or copy it into your own account and add your own finds.
